Our first crystallization system was installed in 1984, which removed iron sulfate from the waste acid stream of sulfuric acid pickle liquor.  This system returned purified acid back to the process and produced moist iron sulfate crystals as the byproduct.  Combined, we have over 50 crystallization and evaporative recovery systems successfully installed.

EVAPORATORS/ DISTILLATION 
Evaporation is the process of changing liquid into vapor Evaporation can be used to concentrate a solution of liquids or solids. In some process applications, evaporation is used to introduce a supersaturated solution which can be crystallized. This is termed evaporative crystallization.

Distillation is typically used to separate liquids or gasses by utilizing differences in thermodynamic properties of the components.

We can offer complete process modeling, lab scale prototyping, scale up, and full scale design and fabrication for evaporation and distillation applications.

At ARSI, we utilize fundamental principles of physics, chemistry, and mathematics to create engineered solutions for your process needs.  Since the ultimate goal in working with ARSI is to solve a particular process objective, we work closely with the customer from the beginning of each project to define clear objectives.  After the objectives are defined, we develop a plan to meet those objectives and we execute the plan with clear and open communication with the customer.
